2011-03-30 [Akayume]: How do you do that? O_O

2011-03-30 [Thunder Cid]: Well I have (had now) the strategy guide for FF8 and was bored one day so I just sorta started making outlines. When I realized I was on to something I used the doodles to make linoleum cuts. Afterwords I distorted the cuts with swirls and such until I was happy (except in one case with Irvine when I made a cut too deep and had to restart with a fresh block). Last I inked, stamped, and edited with sharpie, pen, and pencil.

2011-03-30 [Akayume]: Ohhhhh, I've heard of that. XD See, I'm crafty, but not crafty like that. XP I sew and knit and paint and shit. :P

2011-03-30 [Thunder Cid]: Nice. I can't sew to save my life. I paint decently, but sculpting is mu forte.

2011-03-30 [Thunder Cid]: My teacher said I have a good eye for balance when it comes to 3D work. I went to school to focus in Sculpture (and somehow picked up a double focus).
